SkyJuice Foundation has achieved a significant milestone, winning the prestigious 2025 Zayed Sustainability Prize in the Water category. Recognized globally as a benchmark for innovation and impactful contributions to sustainable development, this accolade highlights SkyJuice’s and our partners transformative efforts in providing sustainable water solutions.

The awards ceremony, hosted in Abu Dhabi, brought together an esteemed audience, including global delegates, ministers, senior officials, and the finalists representing six categories: Health, Food, Energy, Water, Climate Action, and Global High Schools.

SkyJuice Foundation was selected from an unprecedented 5,980 entries worldwide, with only 33 making it to the finals. Their recognition in the Water category reflects the impact SkyJuice has had on advancing safe and sustainable drinking water access for underserved communities.

The SkyJuice award-winning innovation lies in the gravity-fed water filtration systems. These systems have already delivered safe drinking water to over three million people. Additionally, they have reduced household water costs by an impressive 95%, offering a sustainable and scalable solution for global water challenges.

SkyJuice CEO and founder Rhett Butler attended the ceremony in Abu Dhabi and expressed deep gratitude for the recognition. “This award is a testament to the dedication of SkyJuice and our partners in ensuring that safe water is a reality for all,” Rhett said. SkyJuice plans to use the prize to further our safe water initiatives in Bhutan and the Philippines while expanding projects to other underserved regions.
