Australia Day Honours list 2012
The foundation’s extensive work and the extensive work of its volunteer team were recognised in 2012 . It was an endorsement of the entire SkyJuice family for their contribution to the provision of safe drinking water on a global scale. The inaugural Siemens Corporate Responsibility Award 2007
The award focuses on the social dimension of Siemens’ worldwide activities. The award is presented for the most outstanding technology and associated project incorporating best practice, sustainable outcomes and social responsibility. The Kenya: Obambo-Kadenge Safe Water Project was selected as the winner from a field of 182 entries worldwide. The prize money received by the SkyJuice Foundation was used for the second stage of the Safe Water Project, commissioned in December 2008.
Outstanding Training Program Award 2007
Awarded by the Hon Peter Dutton, Minister for Employment, to recognise the SkyJuice water filter manufacturing program instituted in Western Sydney and the “Mentoring” workshop assisting people (20+) to develop employment skills and career opportunities.
Rotary Australia Local Pride in Work Award 2009
This was awarded for outstanding assistance with local clubs to deliver safe water projects.
